This week, the Bocusini 3D food printing system really surprised even us with the impressive print of the famous fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein in marzipan. Isn’t it lovely?

Even more fascinating has been the fact, that a usual prototype of the Bocusini food printing system had been used. With the optimised printer, every future Bocusini owner should therefore be able to print Neuschwanstein and a huge variety of other edible objects with a little training and patience.

From tomorrow on, the marzipan castle will be presented at the international bakery fair IBA in Munich. On Wednesday (September 16 th), starting at 2 p.m. oevery visitor of the fair will have the chance to taste a bit of this delicious object.

Interested in some technical facts? About 5 Bocusini marzipan cartridges have been used for the realisation (500 g marzipan), scale (w x l x h) 8 x 20 x 10 cm, printing time about 8 hours.

I also have to mention that only a great team work and the commitment of all team members made it possible get ready for one week fair and to finish this project in time! .

Yours,

Melanie
